Questions restaurant owners ask us most.

Plainspoken answers to the five things we hear every week. No jargon, no runaround.

What does HostShift cost, and are there hidden fees?

HostShift has three straightforward tiers: Starter is $19/month, Pro is $39/month, and Enterprise is custom-priced. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial with no credit card required, there is no setup fee, and billing is handled through Stripe. See the full breakdown on the pricing page.

Why pay for a bundle instead of choosing features a la carte?

HostShift keeps your menu, brand voice, social drafts, offers, and content calendar in one restaurant workflow. Enterprise also adds review replies and direct publishing, so your team spends less time handing work between specialist tools. Compare the capabilities on features and the tier boundaries on pricing.

How is HostShift different from Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a strong social scheduler. HostShift starts with your menu and brand notes to create restaurant-specific content, organise a weekly queue, and give your team one approval path. Starter and Pro use an approval queue; Enterprise can publish directly only after your approval.

Will I lose control, or will AI publish something I haven’t approved?

Generated content is editable and requires human approval. Nothing goes live without your sign-off, and sensitive review replies remain with the operator. Try the content studio to see the workflow, and review the plan details on pricing.

Can I try HostShift without a commitment, and what happens if I cancel?

Yes. Start with a 14-day trial with no card required, then cancel at any time through Stripe. There is no contract or cancellation fee, and you keep access through the paid period. You can export your generated content and history as CSV or PDF before you go. See pricing or email us if you need help.
